Eligibility – Grades and Attendance

In order for an athlete to be marked as initially eligible to begin competition for the season, they must have no more than 1 F on the certification (or recertification) date for their selected sport.
Each athlete’s grades will be checked each Friday. To maintain weekly grade eligibility, an athlete must have no more than 1 F per week recorded as progress grades

Valid Physical (Physicals are good for 365 days and must be on file at school) Must be emailed to john-f-kennedy-athletic-secretaries.groups@dpsk12.net
Online Registration through FamilyID
$60 Athletic Online Fee ($10 if you qualify for free and reduced lunch)

Students with Free and Reduced Lunch Benefits

Signed Parent Agreement for the DPS Athletic Scholarship Program
$10 Online AND Proof of Free/Reduced Lunch Status (One of the Following):
- Copy of Free/Reduced Lunch Approval Letter from DPS OR Signed Authorization form
NOTE: Applications for Free/Reduced Lunch Benefits must be submitted and approved by DPS DEPARTMENT OF FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICES by September 30, 2021, to qualify for DPS Athletic Scholarship Program.

Transfer Students ONLY

(Does NOT Apply to Incoming 9th Graders)

If you have transferred to JFK from another school (other than 9^th graders that have come here from area middle schools at the start of the school year) and this is your first season to participate in a sport at JFK. You MUST complete the transfer process. Please contact the Athletic Director, Rick Brewer, at 720-423-4370 for more information on this process.
