I moved to Colorado, by way of LA and Miami Beach 16 years ago. I have been teaching in Denver Public Schools ever since. While this is my third year here at Kennedy, I’ve also taught at Manual High School, MLK Jr. Early College, and Lincoln High School.
I have a Bachelors in Secondary English Education and a Masters in Teaching and Learning.
My husband, who is a high school Biology teacher, and I have two ridiculous dogs that we take on various camping trips in our spare time.
Fun fact: I was a stand up comedian for over five years.
