This is my first year at Kennedy and I’ll be teaching 9th grade English and 11th grade IB Language & Literature. I’m originally from New York but lived in California and Texas before settling down in Denver seven years ago. I graduated from Villanova University in 2012 with a BA in English and from the University of Denver in 2019 with an MA in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked in Jeffco Public Schools for the past four years and I am very excited to be joining the amazing JFK team!
When I’m not teaching, I love to hang with my family and dog, enjoy live music, and spend time outdoors. Bonus points if I can do several at once! I love teaching young people and sharing my love of literature and art with them. It’s going to be a great year!
