Alissa is so proud to be a Commander, serving our school as both Dean of Instruction and IB Coordinator. Prior to joining us at Kennedy, Alissa was an English teacher, teaching 8th, 10th, and 11th grade. She is originally from Florida, but moved to Denver in 2016 with her partner and her dog in the hopes of spending more time in the mountains. Alissa is a graduate from the University of Central Florida and is an enormous fan of reading (Kurt Vonnegut), rescue dogs (specifically hers—Bowser), Star Trek (Picard>Kirk), and parenthetical remarks.
