I am excited to start my first year at JFK. Go, Commanders! I have taught kindergarten through high school for twenty-five years. Although I love the little ones, I always return to teaching high school students because of the opportunity to support them with their future goals and dreams. I attended Baylor University for my B.A. and the University of Northern Colorado for my Master’s.
If I am not teaching, you will find me babysitting my two little granddaughters, having big family dinners with my adult children and grands, or trekking on a mountain trail with my dog, Bonnie. I love my job because I value developing solid relationships with students and families and partnering with them to reach their dreams.

Estoy emocionado de comenzar mi primer año en JFK. ¡Adelante, comandantes! He enseñado desde jardín de infantes hasta la escuela secundaria durante veinticinco años. Aunque amo a los pequeños, siempre vuelvo a enseñar a estudiantes de secundaria por la oportunidad de apoyarlos con sus metas y sueños futuros. Asistí a la Universidad de Baylor para obtener mi B.A. y la Universidad del Norte de Colorado para mi Maestría.
Si no estoy enseñando, me encontrarás cuidando a mis dos nietas pequeñas, teniendo grandes cenas familiares con mis hijos adultos y nietos, o caminando por un sendero de montaña con mi perro, Bonnie. Amo mi trabajo porque valoro desarrollar relaciones sólidas con estudiantes y familias y asociarme con ellos para alcanzar sus sueños.

Tôi rất hào hứng khi bắt đầu năm đầu tiên của mình tại JFK. Đi đi, các chỉ huy! Tôi đã dạy từ mẫu giáo đến trung học trong hai mươi lăm năm. Mặc dù tôi yêu các em nhỏ, nhưng tôi luôn quay lại dạy học sinh cấp 3 vì có cơ hội hỗ trợ các em đạt được mục tiêu và ước mơ trong tương lai. Tôi đã theo học Đại học Baylor để lấy bằng B.A. và Đại học Bắc Colorado cho Thạc sĩ của tôi.
Nếu tôi không dạy, bạn sẽ thấy tôi trông trẻ hai đứa cháu gái nhỏ của tôi, ăn tối đại gia đình với con cái và cháu trai của tôi, hoặc đi bộ trên đường mòn với con chó Bonnie của tôi. Tôi yêu công việc của mình bởi vì tôi coi trọng việc phát triển mối quan hệ vững chắc với sinh viên và gia đình, đồng thời hợp tác với họ để đạt được ước mơ của họ.
