2023-24 Black Excellence Plan Vision :
We cultivate an inclusive environment in which our Black students and families co-create conditions to ensure our students own their postsecondary workforce readiness plan. We empower our Black students to take command of their role within the global community.
We have identified three areas of priority focus:
We will measure and monitor our progress in the listed areas by:
Social & Emotional Mental Health | Increasing strongly agree/agree response on the Voice/Tu Voz Survey from 2023 Spring data to 2024 spring data by 5% growth. |
Restorative Approaches | Yielding fewer ISS/OSS discipline infractions than 22-23 by increasing the success rate of restorative approaches with our Black students. |
Academics | Increasing the percentage of Black students who are on track for credits and competency by 10%. |
