“The thing about Black history is that the truth is so much more complex than anything you could make up.” — Henry Louis Gates Jr. February 1st kicks off Black History Month, a time dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and contributions Black people have made in our society. Check out this list of activities that you can engage in to celebrate Black History Month. Huge shout out to the Black Student Alliance Club for planning some fun activities this Month. On February 23rd, the Kennedy BSA plans to host the BVIS BSA for a Cultural Fair. In the upcoming weeks, check out the table toppers in the cafe and main hall that highlight Black Leaders and Influencers throughout history. Continue reading below.
