As we close out the fall semester and reflect on what we have accomplished and what we need to put a bit more focus on for semester 2, consider engaging in a reflective practice as described by Dr. Asha in this audio clip/article. While you reflect, please keep in mind our Unified Improvement Plan Major Improvement Strategies found in the Faculty Handbook on page 9. Remember, we are so much better together and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that we are creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for all students by providing consistent classroom and school culture expectations, planning and implementing culturally and linguistically sustaining lessons, maintaining a strong connection with families, and taking accurate attendance.
