2022-2023 Student HandbookReview the 2022-2023 Student Handbook to find all the information you need for the upcoming school year. The student handbook is a one-stop shop where students and families can find all vital information about JFK. Included in the 2022-2023 Student Handbook are the updated attendance, tardy, and dress code policies.
Cell Phone PolicyWe understand that cell phones are essential to our daily lives. However, they can become a distraction to the learning environment. Our policy is that cell phones are not to be used in class for purposes other than teacher-directed activities. In emergencies, families can call the Main Office (720-423-4300) to get in touch with their student(s) during the school day. They will be patched through to the appropriate classroom. ID BadgesTo ensure school safety all students MUST have ID badges visible AT ALL TIMES Lanyards and clips will be dispersed at no cost when ID badges are distributed. |

COVID-19We now have fewer restrictions because there are no mandates and no public health orders in place. Anyone who chooses to wear a mask may continue to do so. All students may request a mask if they need one.
Masks are strongly recommended for any staff member or student who knows they have been exposed to COVID-19 within the previous 10 days Per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, and unlike last year, students and employees who have COVID-19 do not need to test for the virus and then get a negative rapid at-home test in order to return to school or work. We ask that symptomatic individuals please return on day six and wear a mask from day six to day 10.
The on-site Denver Health Clinic provides vaccinations, physicals, and other healthcare needs.

- Thursday, Aug 18 at 4:00 PM, 5:30 PM, and 7:00 PM: Our three levels of Volleyball will take on K.I.P.P. Denver at J.F.K.
- Thursday, Aug 18 at 4:00 PM: Our Varsity SoccerTeam will face Harrison HS at J.F.K.
- Friday, Aug 19 at 7:00 PM: Our J.F.K. Commanders Football team will scrimmage Kent Denver under the lights on J.F.K.’s Turf
- Saturday, Aug 20 at 10:00 AM: Varsity Softball v. Aurora Central at J.F.K.
- Friday, Aug 26, 2022, at 1:00 PM:Commander P.R.I.D.E. Day, fun, Kona Ice. Bring cash or a card for purchases. We will have plenty of ice-cold water, free of charge.
