We are excited to welcome students back in a couple of weeks! Kennedy has had some exciting construction projects over the summer that we wanted to provide an update on:
Both the student and visitor parking lots have been repaved.
Students and staff will have to park in the student parking lot together.
The solar covered parking is reserved for students.
Our staff parking lot is still under construction due to water permitting issues. We are hopeful it will be completed by the mid to end of September.
Our gym floor was completely redone and a new digital board has been installed in our gym.
Tennis courts are done and ready for the fall season.
A complete remodel of the band room will be taking place this fall. The completion date for this is still being determined.
The auditorium will be completed closer to November due to a backorder on auditorium chairs.
Performing Arts will have access to the stage for classes and rehearsals at the end of September.
Remember that student drop-off will continue to take place on the west side of the campus this school year (this is the same as previous years). We look forward to our students utilizing our new and improved facilities!
