The Technology Student Association provides middle and high school students with opportunities to develop STEM, leadership, and career skills through competitions, conferences, and service projects. These hands‑on experiences in technology, engineering, and design help students build teamwork and technical skills that can strengthen college applications and future career pathways.

Architectural Design Challenge Semifinalists included JFK's Nicolai Carroll, Aldo Guardardo‑Cortes, and Yen Hoang. Their teamwork, creativity, and perseverance were outstanding.

We are especially proud of the growth shown by our freshman participants Yen Hoang and Zay Redondo and the collaboration demonstrated across the JFK TSA Commanders!

Thank you for your ongoing support in encouraging students to pursue these enriching opportunities.

How families can support TSA and STEM programs:

  • Encourage your student to share what they learned at home.

  • Consider volunteering for future events, mentorship, or helping source materials and supplies.

  • If you have industry connections or resources for guest speakers, internships, or job‑shadow opportunities in STEM fields, please let us know.
