The Canned Food Drive kicks off this week on Tuesday. All donations will be collected during 2nd period.
Last year, in the fall, we collected 3,436 lbs of food which fed approximately 687 people in the JFK community.

If you signed your student up for the Clinic : TELL YOUR STUDENT TO COME TO THE CLINIC FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THE FLU NASAL SPRAY OR SHOT!! WE WILL BE GETTING THE H1N1 vaccine soon. Kennedy CSAP scores for 2009 beat the district in 6 out of 7 areas and beat the State in 6 out of 7 areas!!
The Kennedy Counseling Department has been recognized by the American School Counselors Asociation as having a Model School Counseling Program. JFK is one of two Colorado high schools with this national designation!!!
Congratulations to the Kennedy Desktop Publishing team for finishing first in the District! the team consisted of Alyssa Maes-Chicado and Ashley Rodriguez. the team also placed 9th in the state competing against 2500 students from around Colorado. Thanks to Mrs. Rojo-Higgins!
Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Baseball Team for defeating George Washington HS and winning the City Champtionship Friday.

Congratulations to the Robotics team for placing 3rd in the Colorado Regionals against 45 teams at the University of Denver!!
Congratulations to the John F. Kennedy Mock Trial Team. This year they received multiple awards at the regional competition. James Rubino: Outstanding Witness, Amanda Hernandez: Outstanding Lawyer and together the team received the highest award given: The Professionalism Award. They secured a place to continue on at the state competition where James Rubino was once again recognized as an Outstanding Witness.
