Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)

HOSA’s two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA’s goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership. Open to students who are part of the MedConnect Pathway.

Student Council

A Student Council is a group of elected and volunteer students working together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership and encourage student / faculty / community relations.

Tri-M Music Honor Society

The Tri-M® Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for middle/junior high and high school students. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

FBLA is the high school division of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. FBLA helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs.

Black Student Alliance Club

The Black Student Alliance is an organization that serves as an advocate of Black/African American students and as ally to all other underrepresented voices on campus.

Rainbow Alliance

Rainbow Alliance is a student organization that acts as an advocate for our LGBTQ+ community and as ally to all other underrepresented voices on campus.

Dare to Dream Club

Did you move to the U.S. from another country? Would you like to meet other students who have also moved from other countries? Connect with friends from different countries, celebrate your cultures, practice your English in a safe space, and learn how to advocate for yourself at school! *this club is for undocumented & documented students- all are welcome! This organization is part of the Principal’s Advisory Committee, which advocates for and advises Mrs. Almon on student issues that are important to the DREAMers.

Theatre Club

This is a club to explore, develop, and play in the amazing world of theatre. We will put on improv shows and one-acts, create original plays, and go see theatre (soon!). We will also become members of the Thespian Convention where we can compete and explore our future college or career plans in theatre!

Pop Culture Club

In this lunch club, we’ll share our interests and talk about all things pop culture!

Dungeons and Dragons Club

Explore Dungeons and Dragons an interactive Role play game where you get to lead another life. Enjoy quicrky antics and fun scenarios as you learn about yourself and others.

Current Event Forum

A safe location for our students and staff to discuss current events and what is going on in the world around us. A forum were we can come together as a community and have these discussion and hopefully find solutions and action steps. 

IB Good Club

The IB Good club is open to any and all IB students. This is a group to help with community engagement, get the word out about IB, and engage in Creativity, Activity, and Service. Through activities and challenges created by you, we will explore International Ideals and what it means to be an IB student at Kennedy.

Environmental Club

Take action to protect our planet! We help clean up the community, make JFK a more environmentally friendly space, and even communicate with government leaders! Come make a difference in the future and health of our planet!
