I attended Western State University in Gunnison and earned my Bachelor’s in English and history. At Metro State University in Denver, I earned my Education Certificate. I have been a teacher for 14 years, 11 of those years here at Kennedy. I am passionate about all of my students finding their own voice through speaking, writing, and reading. Education opens doors and widows to the future and I want to help my students open all places of opportunity.
I love beautiful words, my husband, my two sons, traveling, life-long learning and the simple joys of life like: strong coffee, chocolate, long walks, flowers, sunsets, a good book, and conversations with friends. I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a young age and I am grateful my day is filled with young people.
