Ready for 2024 & Freshmen Academy

We are one of three schools in DPS that is offering the Ready for 2024 program this summer from July 13th to August 7th. This is an opt-in program that is designed to prepare our incoming freshman to understand what our culture systems are, what our PRIDE values represent and what it means to be a Commander both in academics and action. We will also be providing them with an authentic curriculum that is geared toward math, english, and college and career readiness.

The last week of that program is our mandatory Freshman Academy which gives our incoming freshmen a chance to attend Kennedy before most of the upperclassmen. This provides them an opportunity to get to know their school, meet some of their teachers, and work with our Link Crew leaders on building school spirit.
