Concurrent Enrollment

John F. Kennedy High School is excited to offer concurrent enrollment courses right here on the JFK campus! Students gain exposure to the college experience without having to leave the halls of JFK, and they can earn both high school and college credit at the same time. Even better, Denver Public Schools pays for the tuition, as long as the course is passed. Students must earn a C or higher to receive college credit. Please note, if a student earns an F, they are responsible for the tuition for the course.

Concurrent Enrollment courses offered at JFK include:

English Composition I
English Composition II
African American History
Intro to Ethnic Studies
Intro to Sociology
Intro to Criminal Justice
Social Psychology

In addition to the courses listed above, students can also take classes at Community College of Denver, Arapahoe Community College, Red Rocks Community College, or Emily Griffith Technical College.  Please speak with your counselor for more information on these options!
