Commander Communicator 10-21

A Message From Principal Almon

Dear Commander Community,

I am blown away by the talent displayed during our Hispanic Heritage PRIDE assembly on Thursday in the Gym. Congratulations to the Latinos in Action leadership class for organizing this event and to all of the performers who participated. Ezequiel Pena-Martinez, Jesus Torrez, Daniel Zapata, Ulises Gonzalez-Yanes, and Olivia Manzanares. Shout out to Ms. Logsdon and all the choir students for an incredible performance on Thursday.

Thank you to all of the families that provided feedback on student-led conferences. Please complete this form if you did not get a chance to provide feedback.

The Collaborative School Committee met on Wednesday and discussed strategies for increasing school-wide and individual attendance and enrollment, and we received feedback on homecoming. We will be implementing these suggestions in quarter 2.

Please read the information below for important updates regarding upcoming events.

Have a Commander Kind of Day,

Tiffany Almon, Proud Principal
