Important Update on Remote Learning!

Dear Commander Families and Students,

You all are in our hearts and prayers as we endure the Coronavirus pandemic and continue to plan for the launch of remote learning on 4/7/20. We will be sending out comprehensive instructions on how to access remote learning opportunities for each of your courses later this week.

If you do not have a device to use for online learning options, essential JFK staff will be distributing one Chromebook and one charger per JFK student on Wednesday the 25th, Thursday the 26th, and Friday the 27th at JFK. Chromebook pick up hours will be from 10 am to 2 pm each day. To allow for social distancing, we ask that Freshmen and Sophomores needing devices come between 10 am and noon and Juniors and Seniors needing devices come between noon and 2 pm.

If you are a student with documented disabilities and need a device, you can come anytime on 3/25 through 3/27 between 10 am and 2 pm.

If these pick up hours are not possible for you and your family, please contact Principal Almon at 720-423-4330 or tiffany_almon@dpsk12.org to make other device pick up arrangements.

JFK essential staff will use CDC approved safety precautions as we distribute Chromebooks and chargers. We will be directing traffic for Chromebook pick ups through our Visitor’s lot on the corner of Brown Pl. and Lamar St. and will be providing direction for how to obtain your device while keeping at least a distance of 10 feet between you and our staff as well as other students and families as you arrive.

As always, reach out if you have questions by emailing Principal Almon at tiffany_almon@dpsk12.org. Additional details  on how our pick-up days will work can be found below.
