DPS CareerConnect Apprenticeship Program

 

For Parents (English):   

This school year, John. F. Kennedy launched the CareerConnect Youth Apprenticeship Program, offered through CareerWise. It is an immersive, three-year experience in which students get trained and paid for meaningful work at a company while attending school. Students are encouraged to apply for the program in their sophomore or junior year. Contact Suzy Broz, John F. Este año escolar, John F. Kennedy High School está lanzando el CareerConnect Youth Apprenticeship Program, ofrecido por CareerWise.  El programa es una experiencia en que los estudiantes reciben entrenemiento y pago por su trabajo significativo y educativo en una compañía mientras assisten al secundario.  Es preferido que los estudiantes soliciten su participación durante su segundo o tercero año del secundario.  Por favor, contacta a Suzy Broz (Suzanne_broz@dpsk12.org) coordinadora para la John F. For Students:

Earn While You Learn! John F. Kennedy High School students are invited to participate in the CareerConnect Youth Apprenticeship Program, offered through CareerWise. It is a three-year, hands-on learning experience where you step out of the classroom, and get trained and paid for doing meaningful work for a company…all while finishing high school on time. Students are encouraged to apply for the program in their sophomore and junior year. Apprenticeship prepares you for a high-demand career and paves the way to college.
